We got the engine back from Charles Eller. It's now much bigger than before, around 494 CI. Big hydraulic roller, Blue Thunder 8V intake with Quick Fuel 780 carbs. There's a new set of JBA shortys that are exquisite. New Kevlar clutch plate to put power to the Keisler 6 speed.

Sounds nice

It looks good, ought to make some power.
I assuming it is going in the red thing behind it? I don't see that listed in your signature ... i'm sure it's not a Cougar though i'm not sure what all years of Model T's look like. Seems kind of 68 Shelbyish to me. That yours too?

Not mine, it's a side job that I am enjoying. The engine is a bit much for the mostly stock chassis. Should be a real blast to drive, not sure all this power can actually be used.

my experience

Consider for a soft compound, road race tire. It's a blast to feel full benefit, seat-of-the-pants acceleration that amount of torque can yield.

Not my car but it has Pirreli P-0 tires

They are 17" copies of the original optional ten spokes. Tires are rated to 150 MPH I think.
