Follow up on EDC heads with machined chambers

This pair was tore down to have a basic valve job done before selling. I was surprised to find the intake valves were at 30 degrees on the 2.03 valves. I feel this had to be original because the top of the seats (intake/exhaust) are even with the chamber machining. IF the intake seats had been cut down from 45 then there would be a recessed area below the chamber level at the top of the seat, like most stock 2.03 45 degree Mills. Additionally, the spring installed ht. would have been more than the stock 1.825, but were at 1.825. Still think the heads would be better with CJ valves and hard exhaust seats. Just going stock though.

Of the dozen or so other sets I have, all are 45. Light truck, passenger car, GT... I can't speak to the y-block 292/312 etc.
