I've been trying to do some research, but not coming up with much. Are these the hard to find caps for 67 427's?

Yes, they are very hard to find and if you do find any you will find they are made of unobtainium!!! Gold is cheaper than they are.... sad.gif

valve covers

January 9 2018, 3:49 PM

Would the valve covers be the same as or similar to those found on the 68 CJs (other than date)?

up and down the rows at Carlisle many times looking
for those caps.

Mine isn't exactly like that car but.....

Mac, guy one town over had one of the 24 R codes

January 11 2018, 4:59 AM

Bought it new, kept it until he traded it towards a new ‘70 Torino Cobra.
Checked out your build on Super Motors. Great story and car.
I only need one hand to count the number of times a nice ‘67 is seen in the flesh. JB
Every second counts

So, I dug through some old boxes and found that I have 2 of these caps as pictured in the first post. I will be listing them on E-bay in the near future. I will be sure to inform this forum when they are listed. It will be a no-reserve, high bid wins style for each cap, no games. Thanks for everyone's insight- it was helpful. Jack
