Memory check - Toploader "special" synchronizer

A few years ago I was having issues with a newly rebuilt Toploader. It would pop out of third gear on deceleration. All brand new parts. I put a new 3-4 synchro in each winter for three years until Mark Hammonds of Toploader Heaven told me about a special synchro that had some extra notches machined into the I.D. It was called "torque- something" synchro. Does anyone know the name/type of synchro I'm talking about? Mark is out of business and I no longer have a working phone number for him. A friend is having a similar issue and I was telling him about the synchro but can't recall the full name that Mark called it?

Thanks,

On the David Kee site, he has what's called "Torque Lock" design. I have seen them and its just a an extra groove, one on each side of the center groove, to "hold" the synchro in whatever gear you have chosen.

designed by Ford's T%C Division first in the late 60's. I have some originals with the experimental part number on them from a "white box" (non production) race transmission. They are rarely needed in a top loader ( as opposed to a Muncie or T10) but do the trick when it comes to stopping "pop out"
