whole point is for the prof to remember ur name and to know u and who u are on a higher level rather than thinking of u as just another student, if there were different sections prof would still have to know 150 + students and its impossible to know 150 students as well as u can get to know 40, its also physically impossible for the prof to have time outside of class to help students with their questions and their learning if there are 3 times as many students.
