Thanks for taking taking time to post the message. MUA Belize forum seems to be very inactive when compared to Saba and MUA Nevis forums. I will be joining MUA Belize in Sept. Here are the questions I have.
1) What are the books that are required for the first semester. I got a list of required and reference books with the admissions package but would appreciate any input from students as to what are actually needed.
2) Where can I buy books. Is it better to buy from University book store and get them delivered to the university directly.
3) Is it better to open bank accounts locally or do they have an ATM that can used to withdraw money from US bank accounts.
4) My PPO(health insurance) says they cover any claims submitted while I am in Belize. Is this enough or is it better to take additional health insurance with one of the companies that came with the admissions package.
5) Is a laptop with a zip drive needed.
6) How much do flight tickets generally cost.
7) Are the exams based on USMLE style questions.
8) Is there a library at MUA Belize.
