Ambergeris Caye is really beautiful but the mode of transportation unless you have a taxi or business is by golf cart or bike. You can get around easily-I walked down the beach to the school nearly every day. It is flat so bikes are fine. Best to fly-I think it is a bit dangerous to drive through Mexico. Best of Luck!
