The school is really helpful. If you let them know when you are coming in, they actually have someone at the International Airport to meet you and help you get checked into Tropic to come over to the island. They then have someone (either someone from the school or the taxi drive for the school) meet you at the island airport. They usually drive you to the school to meet with someone from the Administration and then see which apartments you would like to look at and then actually send someone with you to go to see the available apartments. Some apartments are in town (about 1/2 mile from the current campus but 2 miles from the new campus) and some are right next to the current campus and there are some right next to where the new campus is going to be. Most of us have bikes or walk.
Oh, one thing I just found out is that August and Sept are the months for a lot of mosquitos. I check what Deep Woods Off runs in the grocery store and found out it's difficult to get and costs about $8 US per can - so guess what I'm buying when I go back home and am bringin back - you guess it - Off!!

I actually paced myself well this semester and studied hard through the whole time so am not as stressed as last semester and can take more study breaks. I remember what it was like when I was getting ready to come down and couldn't get anyone to answer my posts, so I decided I'd make sure to post for the rest of you coming in.
