Pixies to play T in the Park
The Pixies are to play the T in the Park festival in Scotland [where
Bowie is headlining], their first confirmed UK show for 13 years.
NME.com says the reformed group will play on the main stage on the
first day of the event.
T In The Park 2004 takes place at Balado, Kinross near Glasgow, over
the weekend of July 10-11.
The Pixies are expected to play some warm-up shows in North America
before they appear at the Coachella bash in California on May 1.
They will go on to visit Europe between May 28 and July 10, with a
host of other festival appearances planned.
The band are also thought to have a number of indoor shows pencilled
in, including two nights at London Brixton Academy, as well as a
support slot on Red Hot Chili Peppers' summer European tour. |
