Sonny - I like it

by (no login)

Nice, you can get the latest news straight off when you enter the site- which is nice. The message board is the same- which is fine.
I like the interactive type squad photo. Can you add more info about the players as the year goes on?
attendences- goals scored- etc.??

On a seperate note:- I just noticed that Joe watson is scoring all the goals for the u-21 team. Why the hell is not being given a start!!!

Info on 21's

by Blues die hard (no login)

Been to a few matches. Some great up and coming youngsters. With young Morris and Fennelly manning the posts in Goal. They have an excellent left full in Brian Byrne. Watch out for the name. Kevin Whittle is a rock in defence while Dunphy sprays the passes in midfield.Young Watson upfront says it all. 5 goals he's already got. With a few more quality players they would be an excellent team. Can hold there own as proven against Shamrock Rovers.A game I was glad to be at as they played with great spirit to come from 2-0 down.Watch out first teamers.Anyone else got their views and info on tne U21's.

by Switchy (no login)

Well done on the new site Mr. Knowles it's a lot easier to access.I was well pissed off with waiting for your man to get the blaas out of the oven on the last one.Can we get up to-date match reports or even live coverage of away games on the web. We'll all chip in for the laptop. This may be asking for a little much but Santa is coming!

It's been done successfully before Mr. Sonny. A lot of lads in The States used to watch blues matches on the web!

I've seen enough of Moroney to suggest that he is not up to the task at this level, His performance on Sat left a lot to be desired at £25 a goal scored, I can safely say that doing an extra shift is the best way he's going to make extra cash for Xmas

I concur

by Dr Blue (no login)

Moroney is not up to the job. give him a year in the under 21 squad and see how he fares. Why not give Watson a run. I can't understand why he's never given a start. Every time I've seen him play he looks very dangerous. He has a tendency to wander off-side a bit much, but some more first team experience and he'll be the bane of every defence on the first division.

Come on Paul- give the lad a chance

Elementary my Dear Watson (sorry)

by Switchy (no login)

Joe has got to start given the fact that he has a bit of pace and can pass the ball.I'm sure he'll find the net on a regular basis aswell but not until he's given an extended run in the team.

DEVINE

by W.I.T. CORKCITY TILL I DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no login)

Now that Devine has signed for us I think its fair to say the share price will plumate even lower and any ambitions that waterford had of coming up are over. But not to worry blues fans John Caulfield is out of contract at the end of the season, if ye can satisfy his wage demands who knows!!!!!!!! By the way I was so intimidated by the new waterford united anthem!!!

P.S Devine and Patsy Frain have agreed to try to give up fags

a loss- but not a tragedy

by Dr Blue (no login)

Soup-a Keep-a has not been so soup-a lately. I have a feeling that we the Blues got the best out of him while he was with us. He will be difficult to replace. Who is between the sticks for tonights game??

Joe |Watson for a start.

by vinny (no login)

I've seen enough of Arron Moroney to suggest he is out of his depth. Joe Watson changed the pace of the game completly when he came on and was a threat whenever he got the ball. his pass for the third goal was excellent vision, give him a start
P.P. he deserves it.

moroney

by latas (no login)

i think moroney's just having a confidence problem at the moment, he's obviously a goalscorer judging from his record, but i think he's trying too hard at the moment. i think we should stick with him for a while more, what about pairing him with watson? he wins enough balls in the air for watson to take advantage of with his pace.

Super Joe

by (no login)

Joe Watson definitely looks the part.He has a very good touch and can beat a man.The fact that Moroney is working shifts isn't helping his cause as he seems to be permanantly knackered!
