World's Dumbest Upgrade Scheme, and it's for Windows 7!

by

http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-10382953-56.html

When I obtained a free copy of Windows 7 RC, I was given a link from M$'s own site and then downloaded a normal ISO for a DVD to use.

Then there's this. WTF?

Here's the dope:

1. Companies don't want to upgrade from Clinton-era systems. So be it if it still runs 95, 98, 2000, ME or XP.

2. Companies can't take a risk in a bad economy.

Not even out, Winblow$ 7 has to be patched immediately

by

http://news.cnet.com/8301-27080_3-10374134-245.html?tag=newsLeadStoriesArea.1

Hey, I never said 7 was secure. In fact, I have to run SpyBot S&D, AVG and TweakAll to keep it secure. Same since Windows 95.
