Okay, I guess I don't count since I'm a second generation CSSSA'n, but I can vouch for the existence of at least some of your buddies. I saw Lissa and Jo Jo a few weeks ago at the open show. Both of those guys are creating fantastic animations and seem to be relatively happy. Lissa's animation involved some sort of DDR kitty busting moves left and right and Jo Jo's was about this depressed little girl who finds happiness through a flying pony. I haven't seen Gennady (not that we really know each other anyway) but word on the street is that he's holed up in some cavernous lair at CalArts creating amazing artwork. I saw an animation that he worked on at the open show (some sort of collaboration where he did some 3d modeling). It involved this air battle sequence that was truly amazing. So yeah... that's about all I know about the 2000 folks. Maybe some of 'em will get off their bums and post here once and a while!
