I'm trying to use this summer as my time to catch up with other people in my class in terms of drawing skills and experience, so I've been practicing art/animation related stuff for approx. 12 hours each day this summer. It's really hard, boring stuff that I'm working on, like drawing geometric shapes in perspective without a ruler, and doing 1 min. gesture drawings, and animating boring stuff to try to get the mechanics right. Sometimes it gets really hard to stay on task because there's so much not-so-fun stuff to be done, so I've started a blog to track my progress.
Pretty soon I'm going to start posting some of my work on there, and even though it's just gonna be a bunch of boring crap, I'd really appreciate it if some of you would give me some comments and critique on it. I've made it where anyone can comment without having to sign up for anything or use a password.
