I did mine last year at Moorhouse at York but now it's expired. My problem is that nowhere in the Leeds/York area is holding one for me to do a refresher course. I keep looking on the BHS website but the nearest one is at Doncater and is a few months away yet, is there anyone else in my local area interested in doing this course?

First Aid - I know it is a problem in some places. I had the same problem where I live - Somerset.
I eventually e.mailed the BHS and asked them if they would be prepared for me to set one up in my area. They said yes please. I have started doing just that
Hope to have on in August.
You need to find a suitable place - village hall etc. which needs to be good access for others coming from further afield etc. OR if you have BHS yard nr you they may have a suitable room and be please for the extra income - especially if on a Monday!
Charlotte Nelson a tthe BHS is the person to contact - they will advertise it for you and pay for the venue etc.
Go for it.
Mail me direct if you want more info.

Many horse owners in our Williamsburg, VA community are interested in developing an Equine Basic First Aid Course. Are there certified instructors out there who would be willing to train and certify a few horse owners who could then offer classes to our community.
