Has anyone recently taken stage 3? I am thinking of taking mine in September, if I pluck up enough courage. I have been to a standard setting day, but this only covered the riding and the bit where you have a horse in front of you and you have to talk about its conformation.
What is the h&k section like? How did they do minor ailments now that it's not a written paper?
Any comments, help etc would be wonderful.

Just a quick note to say that BHS have just posted there is a new official BHS book by Islay Auty re BHS stage 3 and PTT 14.95 available from BHS from 15th June.

Good luck with the stage 3.

I hope to retake my riding part of stage 3 to complete AI but don't think it will be till next year, need more mileage, will leave it to my instructor to confirm when I'm ready.
