| Took stage 3 exam at Myerscough College last Wednesday (5/5/04) - but failed both exams. Last time I took it I passed the jumping part but this time failed miserably being asked to retire from the cross country!
Myerscough is a very impressive place and the equipment you get in the practical oral is very good. My exercise bandage was apparently too tight, I didn't describe the way the saddle fitted (or didn't) properly.
I was pleased that I passed the lungeing as I scraped through it in stage 2 and in the PTT.
Intend to take the care section again quite soon and will leave the riding section for a bit until I feel more confident.
Good luck to anyone else about to take an exam. I'll keep you posted on how I get on next time.

Evelyn dont give up. I'm sure you can do it. As you suggest trying to do just the care might be a good idea and then do the riding separately.
Keep going, I'm sure you can do it.

I'm not giving up - I've dreamed of being an AI since I was 16 and I'm 55 next month!
I've booked the care only at Blackdyke Farm near Carlisle for the 30th June. Fingers crossed.
It's costing me a fortune - must revise, revise, revise.
Will let you know how I get on.
