Noticed it's been getting a little quiet in here, over the past week or so... so I was thinking this might be the perfect opportunity for me to catch up on who is who in here
The types of things I was wondering were the level that everyone is up to with their training, whether you work in the equestrian industry or not, how you go about your training, and other things like that that you think are interesting about yourself

Also, hope everything went well today Jonathon with your PTT.

Hi, I took a year off last march to do my exams. I have a dressage mare on livery, although I work at the yard once or twice a week to help pay for my lessons. Most of my studying has been at home and any problems or questions i've asked my trainer. I did do an intensive four day course for my PTT but have essentially passed stage one, riding road safety, two and PTT last week. Mt stage three is in May although only doing one section at a time (x/C on a strange horse is still something to get used to the idea of!!)

I am lucky enough to have an understanding boyfriend who helps me financially but my "year off" is now up and I have to go looking for teaching jobs in order to pay for the livery of my second horse which hopefully arrives end of April.

I currently teach on a Sat 10-2pm and will start Thursdays 4-8pm soon at the same place but am finding it really hard to find vaccancies so I can do my 500 hours quickly.

Would be interested to hear what others charge for freelance work, if they have used the register of intructors (I haven't send off the £45 yet!!) and how they advertised for clients....

Think thats all I can tell you...

Claire
