Your theory is brilliant. SCOOP GUY is just underground, hiding from the prying public eye. Yes, now is not a scoopin' time in the world, people are frenzied because of all the fake scoops. Wrastlin' on Voyager, Starfleet Academy, and rumors that Rick Berman's approval ratings have fallen to 99.99999999%. That's right 99.99999999%, it's because long time Trek supporter J. Michael Strasin(whatsit)ski has now lost a tad bit o faith in Star Trek.
The only hope for me and my conjoined twin is that SCOOP GUY someday come back to those that love him so. Please, SCOOPie, there is still so much more you need to tell us. Like will Star Trek X not actually be Star Trek 10 but Star Trek - X Men, the big screen adaption of the best selling novel that combined the two greatest teams in the galaxy. Or is Worf gonna be on Voyager? I need to know, America needs to know, Sweden needs to know...
Of course, SCOOP GUY is probably dead, as now is any goodness left in our society. Nothing is left for me to do but cry over my glossy photo of Walter Koenig.
