It is a difficult time for the New Republic. After the victory at Naboo the Republic has flourished under the supervision of Chancellor Palpatine but he has also caused an enormous increase in taxes.
Due to these alarming circumstances Queen Amadalia has exausted her funds. As a result the planet Naboo has entered a depression.
Despite the Jedi Council's objections, Anakin Skywalker has decided to loan the Queen some credits which he had originally saved for a T-327 Pod Racer...
