Just in from the West Midlands regional meeting of Supporters Trusts at Nuneaton. I received text messages from Halifax and Kidderminster fans while I was there against the Conference decision and punishment of Altrincham FC and wishing AFC well with their appeal against the points deduction and the fine.
All fans in attendance at tonight's meeting condemned the decision and we were told by a Stafford Rangers fan of the petition which I believe is on the Nationwide North forum.
Nuneaton, in particular were very upset at what has happened to Altrincham but all were sympathetic.
Couple of emails awaiting me, one from Raither Rovers fan offering us about 10 of their spare points and Chesterfield in sympathy with our plight. I expect more tomorrow.
I think we have many friends out there.
