Hello Alty fans, just to let you know that the "Help Altrincham FC" petition has just arrived at the Football Association HQ at Soho Square, according to the Royal Mail tracking service.
Good luck for tomorrow's hearing and I hope that the signatures of approximately 8,500 are taken into account.

I think all Alty fans would echo the sentiments expressed here. There was me thinking there was no such thing as altruism. Well above and beyond the call.....many thanks.
...and due process will take place based on the rules, rather than public opinion. Otherwise we might as well bin the rules and organise a text vote in future.
It will probably be academic as the Conference seem set to eject Scarborough for other reasons meaning Alty should be able to lose tomorrow and still stay up.
And you finished bottom,I cant help thinking that the six years of robbing peter to pay paul is the reason the conference is reviewing your finances.
Scarborough have survived once before at our clubs expense, and it will be a disgrace if it were to happen again.
I wish you no ill, but a stable and financially sound club should not be removed for a mistake by another side,and in turn keep afloat a club that still continued to refuse to cut its cloth accordingly after many close shaves.
that you'd cheated? We were the worst side in the league and I haven't seen any Scarborough fan argue to the contrary. My only comment was that responding to a petition is not the correct way to make decisions.
