FAO 'Alty Lad' on Confguide

Hi to whoever posts as 'Alty Lad' on Confguide and competed in the Confguide TINPOT Cup competition this season.

If you haven't been over to Confguide lately - and I can understand you've all had plenty of other things to worry about recently - you might have missed this...

I can officially announce the first-ever Confguide TINPOT World Cup, to be played this summer, involving the cream of the competitors from the Confguide TINPOT Cup and the Conference South TINPOT League 2005-06.

The competition will follow the same format as the World Cup - 32 players, drawn into 8 groups of four, playing each other on the same day as their respective real-life counterparts. Entry is by invitation only - and will go initially to those who qualified for the last 16 of the Confguide TINPOT Cup and the top 8 of each division of the Conference South TINPOT League.

As such, the following Confguiders are invited to take part:

Ant Page e-mailed you all a couple of months ago and so I've had 12 of you confirm you want to take part. I'll be e-mailing back those who didn't leave their Confguide name with their e-mail so I can work out who's in or not!
