Now I know we should move on, but you might be interested to read this, taken from FGR's forum. (The other) Super Col explains the new Conf Registration form:-

"Since my presentation to the AGM, obviously approval for the registration form to be changed has been agreed by the Conference Board. Whilst I would not take sole credit, hopefully some of my suggestions were found to be sensible. Hopefully these changes will eradicate the situation Altrincham FC found themselves in and in future there would have to be something radically wrong if such a case arose again.."

Now, this sounds like an honourable football club secretary who has seen a fellow member club fall foul of poorly drafted administrative arrangements and has taken it upon himself to suggest changes for the "good of the game".

Trouble is oh Shiny Buttoned Blazered and now obviously Brown Trousered One, what it really is the sound of jet propelled back pedalling to try and rescue his and FGR's reputation.

I think Geoff is quoted in the Sa;e And Altrincham Messenger as saying that Colin had been unfairly treated and had at least stood up at the AGM and said what he thought.
