Off the pitch scenes were obviously a disgrace.

On the pitch, what did you think of the new guys? Thought Bowler got better as the game went on and that O'Neil looked sharp. I think he and Little could gel into something very good indeed. Bushell I think is a great signing and with Eddie, Val and Peyton (who I thought was excellent, especially second half), theres real depth in midfield now. Lawton was fairly quiet but wont judge on one game.

Is Pottsy on holiday? Wasnt on the squad list.

I wasn't overly impressed by Bowler but he got slightly better in the 2nd half. Lawton I was very impressed with however :)

Bowler was incredible. On the left-wing and on the right-wing. Was much more confident in the second half, but he gave us pace and good balls in. Was well chuffed with him, (GET HIM ON CONTRACT!!) Also thought O'Neill linked up well with Colin Little which was quite exciting. Lee Hendley looked sharp.

My only real concern for the season is the centre-backs. Band was his usual self. Munroe actually played quite well for him. Though he did give a sloppy ball away in the second half. I don't think he's good enough to be a first choice centre back, so I'd like to see reinforcements in that area. I won't say a bad word about him, he puts in the effort and tries hard, he just isn't quite good enough, but until we sign Desailly he will have to do.

He lost the ball far too often in the first half and had trouble getting past their full-back. As I say he looked better on the opposite wing in the 2nd half, although his shot was a bit wayward ;)

I admit it's the first game I've seen him play though!
