Following on from a thread on confguide, whats the most we have taken away from home for a league match in the last ten years?

Off top of my head, our away followings for most of the last 10 years, while relatively good comapred to the 3 from Gainsborough or 15 from Alfreton have not been that great as most of that time we’ve been in the Unibond, even though most of the trips were local the opposition wasn’t attractive for the casual away fan, it averaged around the 130 mark I’d suggest for much of that time.

I think we saw some of this coming back last year though with big away followings at places like York (185) Woking (c250ish, biggest Alty following I can recall for a normal league game in the London area for many a year) etc. In the Unibond/Conference North years though I’d say the 400ish at Kettering in the Play off semi, maybe 300 at Guiseley the last game of the 98/99 title year.

Hopefully next year, even though it is on a Tuesday night, Northwich should be at least 400, FGR could be larger than normal too.

How about for the FA cup, the biggest i remember was the 2000+ to Spurs in 95. Watching the Giantnkillers DVD it looked like we took loads to York?
