| I'll be honest and admit that I fully expected Stevenage to turn us over today, principally because I am paranoid about the lack of pace in our back four.
So, full marks to the entire team for a great start to the season.
Had Warren Peyton's shot gone in instead of hitting the post early in the second half, I think that we would have won with a degree of comfort, especially as Stevenage were only given a lifeline courtesy of the referee inexplicably missing a blatant handball in the run-up to their goal.
Credit to Stuart for some amazing saves near the end but let's not forget that Joe O'Neill had a great chance to bury Stevenage but rushed his shot and fired wide of an open goal after their keeper made a tremendous hash of a clearance.
A similar outcome at Stafford on Tuesday would be rather delightful!
