we seem to have a problem at the back in that we cannot defend for the last 10 minutes, this has to be addressed urgently. We are now in our second year in the Conference and should know what we are up against, no excuses this has to be sorted now.

Perhaps it's the fact we're not full time and the fitness levels show themselves in the last 10. We could always take strikers off and replace with extra defenders and hard tackling mid-fielders and play with 11 behind ball.

We are part time scored again today with 10 mins to go against a full time side who didnt look any fitter than us. Same trick as against yourselves go to 3 up front with 15 to go, maybe you should try it.

To be fair you were at home playing Southport and not away at Execter, but fair point.

What is your plan if the oppositions players are of superior quality? Is it as easy as you say?

Exeter should beat Alty at home. If they don't they need to take a long look at themselves.

Exeter could have scored after numerous opportunities in the second half, it just so happened that the one chance they did convert was in the last ten minutes.

I didn't notice any obvious difference in the quality of defending between the first eighty minutes and the last ten. Challinor was given a bit too much time and space and he smashed in the top corner.

The reason Exeter won wasn't because we can't defend for the last ten minutes but because Exeter have players like Challinor who only need the slightest opportunity to punish you.

It is clear we need to address the formation for the last 10-15 minutes.

We have lost the last two games in the final 10 minutes and lets face it but for some tremendous saves by Englands No.1 we would have lost in also against Stevenage.

I havent been to the two away games but I did notice something new against Stevenage a week last Saturday. We played as a team and controlled the midfield. The problem late on was that we reverted to last seasons style of play of hit it up front and hope. We lost the middle of the park.

No we dont want to defend all the time, that is not how points are gained in football, but sometimes I think we need someone to sit more infront on the back 4 near the final quarter of the match. This will provide us with the chance for the centre backs to drop off a little rather than having to put in last ditched challenges.

We should perhaps also consider getting fresh legs at the back rather than up front to help steady the ship, rather than trying to get more stamina up front.

Anyway I am not a football manager but at least my comments make sense in theory.
