As I live nearby, I went to see StAlbans play Cambridge last Tuesday night. We should beat them. Points to note:
Like us they are part time and have retained most of their promotion squad.
Their goalie is really short and bald and looks to be in his mid 50's (but is astonishingly good).
Their defence is big and slow (plus they are without their 2 main centre backs, one of which was sent off in both of their first 2 games!).
They have pace up front and play on the counter.
They have a really skillful playmaker (Davis). He is a bit lightweight though and I suspect a good 'firm' challenge early on should do the trick.
Their supporters were really quiet (at home at least).
I expect them to score quite a few this season, but concede pleanty more.
Prediction 3:2 to Alty.

Yes you give a good analysis of the City team Mr man from Hemel. However, this City side are more than the sum of their parts. They turn loses into draws and draws into wins. Unless they are absolutely outplayed they will get a point, so I'd say 2-2

Five goals in ten minutes, sounds to much like our disaster versus Aldershot last week. Our little band of fans don't want to see that again.
