Isn't it irritating reading time and time again in various sections of the media (eg other official club websites), of how Alty were 'saved' by Scarborough being relegated for financial reasons, without any mention of the circumstances surrounding the whole matter.
Yes; it is true, after a deduction of 18 points, last place was the final league placing. However, before the deduction, four other clubs finished beneath Alty.

Am I being paranoid by the whole thing ?

The truth is that regardless of the whole points deduction issue, we were saved by virtue of Scarborough being demoted for financial reasons, and as such it is inevitable that when adding some background to an article this line will be trotted out.

If any piece were to undertake a deeper explanation of the whole issue it would most probably over shadow the point the writer was originally attempting to make.

Therefore it being the truth and convenient I'm afraid it's probably here to stay.
