Tha player involved was treated on the pitch for 10 mins after going in for a 50:50 challenge. he was taken to hospital where he was said to be sitting up.
Players were too affecetd to ciontinue.

I hope both players make a speedy recovery from their respective injuries.

I'm an Alty fan but just seen on Harrogate's website that Matt Gadsby, the Hinckley player, passed away in hospital.
It makes you cold and sick inside when something like this happens. RIP and thoughts to his team-mates, friends and family.

Our thoughts go to his friends, family, team mates & all those associated with the club.

For what its worth, i hope he died doing something he enjoyed & I hope there was no suffering.
