It is my job as a male to offer solutions and Larissa's job as a female to offer empathy. Between us we do a well rounded job.
With this said, I would like to ask pose a critical question. Let's say that the school administration sees people like yourselves who don't like pep rallies, hang together in small groups as dangerous and placed under scrutiny or worse openly hastled or put in alternative programs because of this (a la reeducation). Don't get me wrong. There are those of us who get drawn into sports and want our team to win (I played football in highschool and wanted the team to win). However, I as well as the majority of us have a repugnance of the cheerleader culture, mentality of the kids on Saved by the Bell etc... Also, many of you I am sure openly show this attitude. Could this be an excuse for the administration to take measures against you? I will leave the opinion with those who respond though only time will reveal the facts. | |
