That is an excellent torque producing intake, and good throttle response. If you do anything to it, try to keep the dividers with broad radius so the air will not shear and go turbulent. A good gasket match, and you're good to go. I ran that manifold on a 289 4-speed fairlane, and picked up 18 hp going to a 735 CJ carb, while testing on a chassis dyno. It had a 600 when the testing started. Joe-JDC.
