Believe I've seen this guy at swap meets for many years.

Response to O/T.. Old Ford Store Inventory Auction

He came to the the Cape Girardaue , MO. Swap meet every year for many years. He used to have some nice stuff, but I saw it dwindle as the years went by. From the video and pictures, there may be a few choice pieces left, but I doubt that it would be worth what they expect to get. There is a lot of junk there and a lot of labor and costs to move it. The owner is expecting 100,000 or better, I would be willing to bet. Not going to happen unles some fool goes crazy. Looks to be cleaned out of valuables unless there is some stray piece here and there. Flat head pistons rings and aftermarket hard parts will not carry the load. Looks to be lots of model A up to 40's stuff, but believe me anything of any real value is gone, as is anything of salable quality as a general rule. FRom the looks of what is there, I'm guessing he sold all the really good stuf, or has pullled it out and saving that for swap meets. He was a pretty nice sort and I wish him well, but moving the stuff is going to cost a small fortune, and most likely more than it is worth. My best guess, is there is a lot of things that are conspicuos by the absence thereof. If you were in businees buying obsolete inventory , why would you stop with stuff in the 50's or older? Somehow the picture looks incomplete. Let the buyer beware.
