Response to FORD valve covers

Thanks for the info Larry. So can I assume that these FORD vale covers were used on all or most regular non HiPo 332,352,and 390 engines in 58-64 full size Ford cars? Like I mentioned, here in Canada, all the 58-65 FEs seemed to have rounded smooth valve covers, similar to these for sale, but without the FORD lettering. The Canadian smooth valve covers were painted several different colors, I`m assuming based on year and/or displacement. I guess up here the FORD covers would be unique, while our smooth covers are unusual in the US. As for the Mercury covers, I`m not really looking to buy a pair, I was just curious, as at least the 63 and 64 Mercurys in Canada with the 300HP 390 had the smooth rounded covers, painted gold.
