No excuses except

From your advertisement-

"The car appears to have the correct and original rear and bell housing. The rear has the factory 3.50 gear traction lock unit and is fully functional with a date code of 8D24. The bell is dated 8G20"

The car left the factory on June 11, 1968. The bellhousing was cast on July 20, 1968. What's the date code on the transmission tag? Does the VIN stamp on the transmission match the engine? The car is not that late in production (IMHO) to receive a 1969 transmission, some '68 Mustangs were built a month later.

Sorry for the oversight Royce...

Nobody is perfect, especially me. I'm just trying my best to give a good description about the car and there was a mistake. Instead of blasting me just to prove what a genius you are to everyone in here please you could have just emailed me like some other guys did to make me aware of the problem.

The ad had been corrected.

You don't have your email in your login

Pretty tough to send an email without any contact info......

On top of that the questions are legitimate and will help the car sell if you answer them.

Does the transmission have the VIN number stamped on it, and does it match the car? It can be seen using a mirror. Look at the top of the ear on the drivers side with a mirror and flashlight above the bolt where the tranny mates with the bellhousing.

but you must copy and paste it into your email. It doesn't come up automatically. I'll see if I can fix that.

I can appreciate where your coming from with your comments and the ad has been updated to show the errors.
