Would you trust this deal? I am a bit skeptical but with the right paperwork/contract it may be ok.

there are pics from two different cars in the ad, why even post the other pics? appears to be an attempt to mislead bidders...the shock towers are a dead giveaway...stay far away from this one..

I know what you mean,... I`ve seen Craigslist & EBay ads for some pretty badly rusted/beatup hunks of crap, with a couple of photos of a mint "exampe" of what it "Will"Could" or "Should" look like when finished. Just in case you had absolutely no clue what a nice Mustang of Fairlane looks like.

That he was including a few pics of other previous restorations that he did , so you could get an idea of the type of work he was capable of . on the other side , I think the auction screams of red flags and is so Iffy that I would not even consider it . maybe make an offer for the car as is , but not on a promise of " maybe , someday it will be done , and it will look sorta or something like these pictures " just my opinion .

would be willing to sign a contract showing exactly what was included in auction. He said no problem. He may be an experienced metal worker but then again his idea of replacing floors may be with pop rivets. I would rather buy as is. I also asked for numbers, you know how many people don't know a 352 from a 428 etc. Also not sure why he wouldn't put pics of engine, interior etc. Didn't matter in the end, I had surgery yesterday and fell asleep before auction ended. Oh well, maybe he will relist with better pics and description.
