I fucking hope not

Self opinionated goombers without a braincell between them or a musical talent. I'm hoping that Vince Power will have seen sense.

I'm going to see them at Finsbury Park (2nd time i'll have seen them) and they'll be (as always), fuckin great! I think all of the Oasis slagging off has been done over the years, now it's time for people to realise that Liam has calmed down and that they actually do write some decent music.

I'll be at finsbury on friday watching oasis, but very much doubt they'll be at reading coz i was under the impression they'd have to sign some sort of exclusivity contract as they are playing t in the park, makes sense or people would just go to reading to see oasis instead of trekking up to glasgow

What bollox!

I hear The Hindu Times on the radio this morning. What a lot of old shit! Nothing new, just the same old (nicked) tune as always. Rubbish lyrics, too. As always again.

I reckon anyone that wants to see Oasis at a festival SHOULD go to Glasgow. And fucking stay there.

ithink the new stuff is sounding pretty cool. the song gettin older has a stupid effect used a load in sotsog, which sucks.
but , hey, peopel are gonna slag oasis now whatever happens. its easier to insult them than compliment them. people arent even thinkin whether the new material is good or not. if you listen to something in a negative mood, youre pretty much gonna hate it no matter what. (eg. look at the post a couple b4 this)
Im not an oasis fan really, more into punk etc...
i just think insulting them is too easy.

Like 'rickers' said, people have their own opinions. Also, I agree with what 'chris.dtw' said, people are going to slag off Oasis no matter what now. People who are doing that now are just narrow-minded. And if they are that shit, how come all the Wembley gigs in 2000 (which I was at) sold out with about 70 000 people attending, plus the Finsbury Park shows are all sold out and the Hull and Newcastle shows sold out in 30 mins!!! They must be doing something right.

People are stupid

April 25 2002, 10:33 AM

thats why they sold out. no one wants to hear anything new and exciting so its the same old stuff they go for. it's safe, innit? I just hope they dont do Reading. They were dull in 2000 and reading will sell out withoiut such a big name as headliners.
