Can anyone remember how many bands were confirmed on the initial announcement last year? Will it just be the three main headliners, or will there be two or three bands announced for each day? Will the Evening Session stage headliners be announced tonight?

It was confusing last year cos if i remember correctly the main headlienrs weren't announced on lamacq live - they were announced by mean fiddler a few weeks before. Lamacq live announced several bands but if my memory serves me correctly not the headliners. Obviously this time they will be doing and i think they will name the headlienrs and the support (2nd on the bill) then maybe a few others they know. They dont have time to announce the full lineup really.

... some sites are reporting that they are going for the different headliner thing with leads having GNR reading having, some say metallica, others saying AC DC (please god no) and glasgow getting Gimpknot. Before you start having a go neither of us believe a word of it. If it is true then i pray reading gets metallica. And Gimpknot would offer yet another reason to go to reading instead of my local fest
