I will be going because he is absolute legend. Everyone who says 'Ooo ooo he's so bad and talentless, all his songs sound the same' are a bunch of narrow minded wanks. Ok so his songs all have the same kind of sound but thats because he writes it all. And the ironic thing is that its because he is DIFFERENT from all the other stuff around at the moment that people dislike him. There, my controversial point has been made for the day.

I get Wet is a good album, bit samey, but still fun. His live performances though are just awesome.

......People have heard the album and don't like it or don't like him and his pretentious opinions.

If you've heard an interview with the guy you'd know he sounds like a fool - "Sometimes I have so much energy i just wanna hit myself in the face, but then i remember i have to sing."

Wow that guy has some intelligent stuff to say. Granted everyone says stupid things, but you can't assume everyone who says they dont like him is on a "bandwagon".

Everyone who hates Andrew WK seems to feel obliged to impose their hatred on everyone else. If you don't like him fine...but there's no reason to bring up 'Oh but Andrew WK is shit' every time you mention Reading (I don't mean you personally). Ok so in interviews he sounds dumb but is that a reason to hate someone? In his live shows he gives everything he's got and is grateful for every fan he has. So people putting him down need to look at themselves as sad since they can't take the attitude of 'each to their own'.

But everyone is entitled to their own opinion no matter how ridiculous or insulting it is. You say each to their own and if you truly believe in this it should not bother you one bit if people post stuff which you know is wrong or you diagree with.

Each to their own means hating as well as liking.

oh some people!!fair enough you dont knwo me, but i sounded so patronising in that post, of course i dont like the bugger!but i will be lieing down by the main stage watching this comedy performance with a big burger and a warm beer, this is of course if he doesnt clash with some1 pretty fucking fantastic.

we went to see andrew WK on that lostpropet nme tour thingy (BRMC were brilliant even though they had guitar problems) , and my mate lekey decided it would be a good idea to buy a fake andrew wk tshirt outside the Astoria.
when we got home to sunny peterborough he looked on the back and the of the tshirt and it said the 8th of feb instead of the 10th when we actually saw him....
serve him right for buying merchandise of a god awful band....
just thought i share that with u 4 my own personal enjoyment...
