hello... has anyone in previous years at Reading turned up earlier than the day they have the ticket for and been let in to the camping area by the security?? our group is split this year between people with weekend tix and people who are only coming on saturday and sunday with day tix, d'you reckon the security will let them in on the thursday if we're all going in as a big group?

but if you are in a mixed group u get those with full tix to go and put up all the tents u need for the lot of u, then the day trippers come in later (maybe at night but probably a lot ealier) when security buggers off

No. They will be shot on-site and have their carcasses fed to the Reading Tramps(supplied by Meanfiddler and the UKTramps corporation) and then they`ll shoot the tramps. LALALA

I wouldn't bank on being let in a day earlier than your ticket says. Try persuading the guys on the gate. Ultimately, you ain't getting in the arena a day early, so it shouldn't matter too much, but, as I'm sure you're aware, there are always those for whom "rules is rules..."

im not sure if this will work but ive heard of people pulling it off in the past.

if more than one of you is camping and has weekend tickets then you can both show your tickets and go in, then one of you takes both of the tickets back out and gives one to the day ticketer and goes back in again. repeat as necessary.

security on the campsite gates dont do anything to your ticket (at least they didnt last year) they just check to make sure you have a ticket.

last year i didnt see any security checking tickets/wristbands in the campsite.
