The only way things change is if the people stand up. you dont need to be a hero to do this, just common sense and a conciounce. A lot of people bought tickets soley to over sell and you guys think its okay, this is how they get recognition and are accepted. If they didnt buy the tickets in the first place then some other people could of gotten there tickets at the usual price.

Capitalism sucks. The exploitation of one human by another so that they can increase their wealth is not a good thing in my humble opinion. Global corpoations paying people in third world countries wages below what they need to survive, which simutaniously leads to high unemployment in first world counties where employment laws are far sticter is not fair, as for the ridiculous comment about moving to China if you dont like capitalism, 1. if you were to read anything by Karl Marx you would realise that China is not a communist country as they had never reached capitalism before becoming communist, and that china is dictatorship, that hides behind communism. 2. your statement implies that those who oppose capitalism are neccessarily communist, this is not the case as you are forgetting that other political philosophies also oppose capitalism, such as Anarchism.
Take a look at things for an economic point of view and the communist arguement is an absolute sham my friends. For human nature is not one of selflessness, quite the contrary in fact. Without rewards for hard work and productivity in the form of cold hard cash production of nearly all goods and services would diminish almost instantly, there would be no motivation whatsoever. Dont get me wrong, im no capitalist, Im a socialist, and not a Tony Blair kind of monkey but a true one. there still needs to be elements of rewarding hard work, which is how capitalism first truly began to flourish in 1920's America with the idea of the cowboy and rugged individualism. But upon closer inspection this was fuelled by the exploitation of their lax immigration policies and therefore immigrants as a whole. The key is to keep strict control over working conditions tpo prevent exploitation give the trade unions the power that they deserve and while rewarding the sccessful keep an eye out for the losers of the world and subsise them with benefits and welfare. Right, ok, i will confess my comments were of a flippant nature, but that was in part to do with the fact the original comments werent of the most intelligent or constructive ilk, and also because, as i previously stated, i didnt want to get into a political argument/ debate/ whatever. As regards your other points, i have read various extracts of Marx's work and i would say, in light of the Communist Manifesto, no nation has ever reached Communism in its true form. This is why i feel, and always have, Communism isnt so much a political theory (or life theory, or whatever you wish it to be) but an unattainable ideal which would never ever work in society. My dislike for the constant criticism of capitalist theory is due to the lack of people providing a coherent alternative that would be viable in todays society. In my view people should not continually criticize what they view as a problem, without offering a solution. As for my assumption that people who hate capitalism are likely to support communism, again i was hasty, but i was just trying to make a point and the first country that naturally springs to my mind when i think of modern day (attempts at) Communism. If you can tell me a country under anarchist rule that should have sprung to mind a lot quicker, please, feel free.

I didnt in any way condone the touts on this site, in fact i think i described them as money grabbing, i was just getting a bit sick of all this anti-capitalist shit. After all, you are all going to a festival that pays the acts appearing stupidly high amounts of money to play. Think about why you are going to Reading, and think how many bands would be playing if they weren't being paid by a capitalist system.
