Pulp are pure arse. How they are even on the bill still shocks me. It's not even like they were good when they were popular. Now they're just old and crap. People like Guns n Roses and Oasis (bare in mind i still think both are shit) can get away with it cuz they have a "cult" following. Pulp are just a joke that has gone on for too long. Make it stop.
I guess they blew a lot of their budget on getting the Prodigy and Guns n Roses.
They're no more popular than The Hives I'd say who only manage a mid card slot on Saturday...

If it were the case of mean fiddler blowing their money on other acts, they could have at least got Weezer to headline, rather than wasting them later in the lineup. At least Weezer have enough material and are popular enough to handle a headlining slot. Unlike the Strokes, who are wank.
They don't have enough songs to play for an hour and a half. Inspired crowd banter is non-existent too. The only thing I remember the singer saying at leeds last year was 'Iggy's next, and he's going to blow us off stage' - and he did.
Also he might well be singing sitting down so no moving about at all either.
as the strokes don't have enough material for the usual long headlining slot, lets hope the organisers see sense and give weezer or somebody else a longer one than normal.
