Earlier, in this forum, some one said something about Dillinger Escape Plan having made an EP with Mike Patton. Doesanyone know if the name of this EP, or if theres any chance of Dillinger Escape Plan bringing Mike Patton with them to Reading?

The EP is called 'Irony is a dead scene' (released next monday) and apparently they will be playing the songs off it, but Mike Patton is on tour with some other band in the US so he won't be coming. I sound like a feckin press officer!

Yeah, "irony is a dead scene" is well worth the wait. Mikes vocals are crazy as per usual, perhaps making DEP sound slightly more metal in places. Dillinger are touring randomly with Tomakawk (mike Patten) is some places, but i doubt he will play reading, but you never know. Watch out for DIllinger playing a cover of "rebel yell" by BIlly Idol, its absolutely magic. They usually play it last. CANT WAIT!!!!!!

I really don't wanna sound like a right doofus, but untill now I've never even heard of DEP. They must be good though if you all like them so much?!
