I was wondering if you knew what the 3 day camping capacity at Reading is??? and what capacity each of the day tickets are?? I ask because every year everyone i camp with spends ages discussing this. I understood it was 45,000 weekend tickets and 10,000 day. But other figures that have been suggested are 40,000 weekend and 11,000 day or 50,000 weekend and 5,000 day?!?!?!

just to be a git and ask more questions, one of my mates also said that up until 1997 the capacity used to be 100,000 but it never sold out so they reduced it? ture of false?

Im sure, up until it became the Carling Weekend, when it was Reading, it had the capacity at least to be the biggest festival in the UK, i may just be spacing out but im absolutely positive i read that somewhere. Hey ho, can anyone help?
