anyone else think there was too many kids there this year due to slipknot. i was quite near the front for weezer ( a band that u dont mosh to) and there was loads of pushin goin on! one point i had bout 10 people on top of me!
The mini moshers have attacked again this year. Just about the time that Slipknot were finishing, I was walking out to buy a crate of Carling (I'd rather Stella but couldn't be bothered to walk that far ... .. who cares anyway?). When I got to just outside the entrance, there were loads of parents standing there waiting to collect their children. I can just imagine it:
Mum: "So how were Slipknot son?"
Mini Mosher: "They were great, thanks for letting me come, but I hate you mum and I want to self harm ... ..."
Oh well, we can only hope that as the years go on they learn from their mistakes. Maybe next year they'll be listening to better music.
it was rather more obvious on the sunday this year than it was last year & thats saying something.
slipknot were total rubbish but it was quite funny to watch the metal westlife being ooooooo scary!!
But yeah there were many mini-moshers this year. But they all seemed to vanish the instant the pit kicked in. Its like they all combusted or something.
chill out guys, we were all kids once ya know. I went to Reading for the 1st time when i was 15 in 2000 and i seem to remember some older people "picking" on me in the pits, i know festivals are generally more suited to an older audience but at the end of the day the mini moshers have just as much right to be there as you. If you dont like it, go to your over 18's clubs where bands play and mini moshers dont have access to music at all....
