Ok, I know its good that they did coverage at all - but if they are supposed to provide the best coverage, why do they always make such an amateur job of it? The only people who are gona bother to watch/record the 1:55am program are people who actually went - surely they could make the program longer and include at least all the main stage bands. Its so gutting and fuckin annoying when you watch something waiting for the band u wanna see, and then they don't show it! I've tried to contact itv yet it says on their website under 'contact us' there's only tel and fax numbers. Fuckin disgraceful; do something properly for once you bunch of wankers at ITV.

i was watching an old one from V98 and all they showed were fucking Republica and Space??? apparently there is another from V98 showing Green Day but I missed it cuz it was on at 3 am on Friday morning or summert daft. like you say why not put on at 5pm on a sunday evening instead of all the local programming crap and shows about steeplejacks and such shite!
Yeah i agree it did look pretty ameteur, Channel 4 did a good job last year. And why did the poor act that is Sum41 get 4 or 5 songs on and the headliners Foo Fighters get no coverage at all ??
In the tv listings for the programs last nite it clearly said that the coverage included Foos. Where the fuck were they then? I agree with you folks : it's not good enough. I did tape both the programs though and I have to say the early morning one was better than the 9.45 one (which actually didn't begin till 10 anyway!) I'm hoping that there will be another program next week which will have some Foos on it.
Apparently there is a 4Music program on Wednesday nite (late I think) just on The Foos.
...that they TV company (ITV in this case) have to get clearance from artists/record companies/song publishers before broadcast. It's much cheaper to get clearance for Sum 41 (who need all the exposure they can get) than it is for the Foo Fighters (who are pretty damn popular). Hence loads of stuff no-one likes (eg that V98 prog with lots of Space tracks...)
