Album of the year poll: the story so far.December 11 2002 at 10:24 AM | Fat Reg |
| Currently heading the prestigous fatreg.com Album of the Year 2003 poll is... Danko Jones "Born a Lion."
Obviously, the great man should have been nominated for the Mercury Prize (I know the Mercury is for British artists and he's Canadian, but I'm almost old enough to remember when Canada belonged to Britain, by George, so he counts in my book) but hopefully this will be some comfort to him.
If he's still out in front by the arbitrary closing date (and even I don't know when that is...) I will, of course inform him. I'm sure it'll fill him with warmth and pride.
Snapping at his heels are Coldplay, QOTSA and the Datsuns.
If you haven't voted yet, please respond to this and I'll ad your votes to the tally. |

Put me down for The Wildhearts 'Riff After Riff After Muthafuckin Riff' mini-album then, even though I'll be the only one sadly. Come on, even the title alone is worthy of winning! |
