When do the lineups get announced?December 15 2002 at 4:45 PM | Mar |
| I know that officially it's in April, but it seems that already some bands are coming forward and saying they're playing. Does the lineup slowly build up between now and April, with the order and which stage etc being officially announced in April? Or do we find out bit by bit untill the whole picture is reveiled in April?
Sorry if this seems a daft question: I am new to all this festival lark you know. I can't wait to find out if my fave bands are gonna play!! |

.. to get an odd band saying they're gonna play but not allways. most if not all confirm themselves around the time the tickets start selling. |

See that fat bloke playing guitar? He's my hero, he is...
Isn't Bowling For Soup the crappiest name for a band ever? |

E.g. John McCoy - Gillan, those were the days, saw them supported by Budgie - all got a bit dodgy when he joined Mammoth though. Still, "Fat Man" must be an anthem for this site !
Good to see big old bassists coming back into fashion. |

I stand corrected. I can't make my mind up about them. They put on a good show last year from what I could see at the back but these 'comedy punk' acts seldom stand the test of time. I thought Sum 41 were good fun when they first released Fat Lip but they get on my nerves now ! |

But yes comedy punk is "omg fickle fanbase" territory |
