panic-mongering...???March 5 2003 at 5:25 PM | amelia |
| sorry don't even know if that's an expression but does anyone think there's anything to worry about as far as waiting for tickets to be issued to HMV and other ticket outlets that you can actually go and buy with cash rather than via the internet... my reason for asking is this... over on efestivals site there is alot of panicing going on as to whether there will be any weekend tickets left by the time the line-up is announced in a month or so, i personally think this is tosh and is just their way of getting people to buy their tickets now through that website... i rang meanfiddler last night to ask if and when they'd be issuing tickets for over the counter sales (so to speak) and they said HMV etc should be selling them around the beginning of april...
so what d'ya reckon? panic and buy a ticket online now and then have to wait till august to get it or chill for 4 wks and buy it over the counter????
your thoughts would be muchly appreciated! :o) |

...much the same happened last year. HMV got them about May. Don't forget that not everyone has a credit card so there will definitely be over the counter sales. Call me old-fashioned, but I like to wait until I can hand over the money and walk out of the shop with my ticket in my hand. |
