A little bird has told us who to expect announced as the main bands for Reading and Leeds Festivals, which will be officially announced this coming Monday evening at about 6pm.
At Reading on Friday, expect to see Linkin Park. On Saturday, you can expect Blur and the Whipe Stripes. And Sunday will give you Metallica (OK, you already knew that) and System of a Down.
At Leeds, Metallica will be on Friday, Linkin Park on Saturday, and Blur will close the show on Sunday.
NOTE that NONE of this is yet confirmed - but we fully expect it to be on Monday - just you wait and see!

ps. is anyone else leaving Reading on Saturday afternoon to see roliing stones at Twickenham?
